Between 2006 and 2008, cancer affected approximately 2000 teenagers in the UK. Superhero Me! is a concept that will help teenage cancer patients with their day-to-day lives simply through an application on their smartphone. Devised to address the feelings of loneliness, isolation and boredom experienced by teenage cancer patients, Superhero Me! was chosen as the winner of the eyeforpharma Mobile Health competition 2012.
